Years ago, those of us who were interested in personal development issues were looked at as if we were not from this planet. I am very happy that this concept is changing and that more and more of us are claiming that mental and emotional health has to be at the top of our list. Above all, we have to be brave and consistent with our lifestyle and discard from our mind everything that does not serve us to develop as we wish.
The path of self-knowledge is never-ending and fascinating.. The beginnings are usually hard, since most of us start at a point in life where suffering is very present, having the need to look for new concepts that make us change the way we see the world and consequently our own life.
My beginnings were not easy either, and I have to say that it is the best thing I could do for myself and for the people who love me, mainly my son, since having become the person I am now, one of the most benefited has been him, because he learns from me; I am one of the important references in his life path. The best legacy I can leave him is my attitude towards the difficulties that arise, if he models this way of living I am sure he will always see the glass full and for him everything will be a learning experience.
I think that the role of parents is very complicatedIf we want to transmit a series of values to our descendants, it is urgent that we clean our own pigsty, since as parents we can condition them for better or for worse. It is true that there are situations in childhood that are complicated, and it may be difficult to forgive and forget, but remember that if for example you feel anger, you are feeling the sensation, not the other person. In these cases it is necessary to do a therapy of the inner child to be able to let go and move to the next step.
What to do?
At some point in our journey, we ask ourselves: can I do it differently? Of course you can, you can choose to live life from love, overcoming, continuous learning, understanding, gratitude, faith, etc. You have free will, you decide what to do. If you choose responsibility and take charge of your life, I assure you that you will not regret it.
And you will say to yourself: "Perfect, I would love to live like this, but I don't know where to start" (exactly the same thing happened to me).
If you feel unwell, you go to a specialist to help you with your ailment.. But instead in the mental and emotional issues you resign yourself and go pulling, at most you go to the family doctor to prescribe you a sleeping pill to rest well at night because your negative and catastrophic thoughts do not let you sleep well, and hopefully some more little thing to spend your days without that pressure on your chest that hinders your harmonious breathing and incidentally that makes you see life rosy without any effort on your part, just the effort of swallowing that little pill of happiness (I am not against medication because in many cases it is necessary and essential, but we must be aware that there is an increasing abuse by many citizens, it is like putting a band-aid on a wound without having disinfected it before).
