The specific objectives of the therapy should be clearly explained to the patient, since they must be an active participant in their implementation and aim at a certain result.

Physical methods of treatment play a significant role in the rehabilitation strategy of patients with spastic paresis. It is important to start treatment as early as possible. A physiotherapist may recommend symptomatic treatment with heat, water procedures, and prescribe fixation of paralyzed limbs in a certain position.
