California flower essences
The California system works very well with the basic structure of the self (conflicts with parental figures and those that have been generated in the first years of life), sexuality (sexual identification, repression, lack of desire, sexual addiction ...) awareness (conflict with the shadow, transformation of the ego ...), attunement to nature (uprooting, involvement in ecology ...), social life (solidarity, integration, communication, contact, social mistrust), protection (against environmental aggression, against violence), spirituality (spiritual fanaticism, attitude towards death, grief, transpersonal psychology), creativity (creative block, creative impulse, creative exhaustion).
The California Fes system is, after Bach's floral system, the most recognized, the most extensive, the most complete, and the one that invites us to understand flowers not only directly from the emotional pattern that they expose but that, (and that is why it is such a rich system), they do not encourage us to understand through botany and the flower's own signature, its healing message.
Richard and Patricia start from five basic working principles when investigating the healing pattern of the flower.
- The first principle is the observation of the plant and its relationship with the environment (color, shape, signature, seasonal cycles).
- The second principle is the in-depth realization of the botanical and popular tradition of the therapeutic use of the plant.
- The third principle is to pay attention to the botanical classification of the plant and the relationships between them (it is interesting to see how the plants of the same family have affinity in the qualities of their essences. For example, the liliacee family works very well with feminine aspects of personality).
- The fourth principle is the tuning of the processors with the plant itself.
- And finally the fifth principle is an important research work with the help of therapists from all over the world.
His work follows the line of anthroposophy, and his predecessors such as Rudolf Steiner (who was the father of anthroposophy), or Goethe collected the legacy of Paracelsus, a great alchemist of the 16th century, who spoke of the signature of the plant as way of understanding nature. Paracelsus pointed out that nature, by its way of showing itself outwards, gave all the information so that we could see what its healing effect was.
Another important question of why work with the essences of California, is and, that is a simple but no less controversial question to think that it would be unfair to the earth, which welcomes so many plant species, to think that only 38 remedies of flowers can heal emotionally. From my vision as a therapist and teacher, I believe that all the flowers in the world have an important healing quality, only that, in my case, I only work with about 500 because they are in the most researched systems, which are, the Bach flower system, the Bach system. California floral and Australian floral system.
In short, flower essences help us find the lost, or even discover it in order to give meaning to our lives and discover all our inner potential and experience happiness.
