Different types of poisonings and their symptoms
Poisonings can be accidental or voluntary and acute or chronic. The more frequent poisoning is the voluntary and acute by intake of drugs, alcohol or drugs. Other relatively frequent toxins would be industrial products, household products (especially cleaning), gardening (insecticides), carbon monoxide ... Depending on the time of exposure to the poison, we will differentiate between acute and chronic poisonings. The sharp are those whose effect is evident before 24 hours from exposure to the poison. When contacting the body generates some symptom and, after being metabolized, the individual usually recovers (although death can occur depending on the poison).
