Light Desserts: Your Guide to Healthy Sweet Treats
What about the desserts?
A fruit or a skimmed dairy is always a good option, but if we want something more elaborate there are also light alternatives. With different colors, shapes and textures we can make very colorful and appetizing desserts that can be very healthy and not very energetic.
It is time to eat fresh food, light preparations, easy to digest and low in energy.
In a silicone baking mold we can create our dessert. We choose fruits, varied, exotic and low calorie, such as currants, apricots, papaya, etc. We can wash them and cut them into very small pieces or even crush them. With this we will fill the molds and in the upper part we will place the flowers, a cut pineapple sheet in bowls and roll it up creating a flower and the stars, a star fruit sheet.
The caloric content of this dessert may vary depending on the fruits we choose and the amount we use, but the ingredients are only fresh fruit and therefore it will always be a light and digestive dessert.

Melon cream with mint
We only need melon, cucumber and some mint leaves. It is a very refreshing dessert that is served very cold and can also be served as an appetizer or starter. With the same proportion of melon as cucumber, wash and chop the ingredients and crush adding the mint leaves for the final touch. Both melon and cucumber are, so few desserts are lighter than this one we can prepare.

Fruit and fresh cheese skewers
A very visual and refreshing option is to prepare skewers with assorted fruits and low-fat fresh cheese. It is advisable to choose fruits of different textures and colors, to give more attractiveness and make the dessert more palatable. Prepare a skewer, blackberry, fresh cheese, tangerine and apple, in this order. If we have to prepare the skewers a little in advance, we can add lemon juice on the apple and banana to prevent them from rusting.

Mounted egg white and lemon flakes
As a sugar-free meringue we can make a dessert based on whites and lemons with very little caloric content and hardly any sugar. We must mix the whites with a splash of lemon. A reference can be a teaspoon of lemon juice for each egg white, but it can be added as desired. You just have to bear in mind that the more juice, the more it will cost to mount the mixture to the point of snow. Once we have it, we carefully insert it into a pastry bag and create the cupcake on a silicone mold for muffins. Bake at 120º C between 60 and 90 minutes. Once baked you can add icing sugar on top to sweeten but controlling quantities.
