Sandwiches for all tastes
The sandwiches They can represent a good choice as long as we alternate them with other proposals and above all we know how to fill them without always resorting to not always recommended options such as sausages, cold cuts, fatty cheeses, patés, etc. Actually, you can make a sandwich out of just about anything. Let's make the imagination fly!
Grilled chicken sandwiches, whipped fresh cheese and figs
Monday arrives and we must fill up the sandwich… To take advantage of the weekend's remains, we clean a few pieces of chicken and with a couple of other things we have a yummy sandwich. Ingredients: crisp whole wheat bread, fresh roasted chicken and fresh figs. Elaboration: we can sauté a few pieces of chicken specifically for the sandwich, but the idea is to take advantage of the remains of the weekend. We clean some pieces of chicken, removing skin and bones, and we shred them to place them in the sandwich, and we add whipped fresh cheese. To finish complementing we laminate some clean fresh ones, which are now in full season, and we already have a sandwich ready.
Eggplant and cashew cream
An option in which we must wait a little longer because we must previously cook the eggplant, unless by chance it has already been prepared. Ingredients: Coca bread, cashew cream, sesame. Elaboration: We must purchase cashew cream that is only 100% cashew, or else make it homemade. We cut the aubergine into slices, cook it in the oven and when they are about to be cooked we spread them with the cashew cream and sprinkle sesame on top and put it back in the oven for a few minutes, just enough to make it crisp but not burned . Once we have the slices, we let them cool and we can fill the bread. If we want to give it a fresher touch, we can add a light yogurt sauce dressing.
Cucumber and radishes with sprouts
A fresh and light sandwich where they exist since all its ingredients are raw vegetables. Ingredients: ciabatta bread, tomato, cucumber, radishes, alfalfa sprouts. Elaboration: very simple to prepare, clean, chop, and place inside the sandwich, the secret is to laminate both the tomato and the cucumber and the radishes into extra thin slices, season with a little oil, add the alfalfa sprouts, we close the sandwich and eat !
Goat cheese, tomato and pomegranate
Tasty and colorful, a creamy and fresh option. Ingredients: whole grain bread with seeds, goat cheese, tomato and pomegranate. Elaboration: We grate the tomato to make the most of the pulp and we dress it with olive oil and basil, we distribute it on the bread, we cut the slices of fresh cheese and we distribute them over the tomato, finally we add a few grains of pomegranate on the cheese and we already have it ready.
Sardines, mushrooms and peanuts
If we want to do it on a canned basis, we can. Fast and easy! Ingredients: canned sardines in olive oil, which can also be canned and fresh peanuts. Elaboration: We will choose a very crunchy bread, coca bread style, not sweet, but a flat and very crunchy bread, we drain the sardines, the same with the mushrooms, we chop them, we peel the peanuts ... And to fill the bread! Made in no time, with a crunchy and exotic touch and avoiding resorting to fatty sausages and processed meat products.
