The time has finally come, we are clear that what is best for us is to do some exercise, but now we have to decide the most appropriate type of activity. A thousand and one doubts assail us. And it is that opting for one or the other can depend on many factors. Some of them are simply a matter of comfort or fashion but others involve health issues.

Does it suit us?
We join the club next to our home or office without looking at what kind of services they offer, just because I don't have to travel excessively. Or maybe I sign up with my friend, my neighbor or a relative and I go without knowing what I can do.
At other times it does not depend on comfort but on what is in fashion. If at any given moment there is a type of dance or routine that becomes fashionable and all the famous people practice it, it is most likely that there will be a temporary boom and where it is practiced there will be queues. But the question is: are you sure it suits you?
To be sure that you do not have any risk factor, injury or health problem, consulting your doctor or, better yet, one in sports medicine, will clear up your doubts. In case there are no contraindications for health issues that could prevent you from following some of these exercises, practicing a type of dance or enjoying a directed class, go ahead with it.
Motivate yourself
It is ideal to look for those activities that motivate and like you. It is proven that those who are motivated to practice physical activity obtain better results, injure themselves less and incorporate sports habits into their usual routine. And, what is very important, they do not give up so easily after time. In fact, it is recommended that, faced with various alternatives, we always look for the ones that are most adapt to taste of each one so that the time that is dedicated to the exercise is rather pleasant and, above all, that it is enjoyed.
With the practice of physical activity our body secretes a series of hormones, the endorphins, known as. Many wonder how happy it is to be sweating and straining for a period of time. Well, the human body, which is very wise, secretes these hormones so that although the moment is not pleasant for some, the results in principle, yes they are. In this way, a vicious circle even occurs since when we feel good, the next time we will create the need to get up from the sofa and activate ourselves even if we are lazy.
