Why is the perspective from which we accompany important?
A reflection on the perspectives of abundance and scarcity.
Abundance or scarcityWhich paradigm do you live in and from which one do you accompany clients?
Living from a scarcity mentality generates fear, and fear triggers unconsciously learned protection behaviors that are not always beneficial for the individual...
For example, thinking "I am not enough" will unleash a fear of loneliness and a behavior that leads us to settle for any quality of relationship so as not to be alone, possibly leading to many unnecessary situations of suffering.
This type of mentality is also nourished by beliefs where "the other" is the enemy, because the basic thought of scarcity is "there is not enough for everyone".
Two ways to position yourself in the abundance or scarcity mentality
There are different cases. In the first place, that of those who think they deserve it allFirstly, the individual who acts from the mentality of "if I have it, I must defend it so as not to go without" and "if I don't have it, I must fight to have it". In this way of thinking, the individual is at least taking care of the problem, living in an unnecessary tension, but taking care of it.
A major problem arises when the individual feels incapable of having or achieving with this type of thinking:
- I don't deserve
- I cannot
- It is not for me
No matter how much the person does to get out of that situation, it will only change the results momentarily.
This kind of scarcity mentality is generated in a paradigm of individualizationwhere the perspective is rather linear, "beginning and end"; either you are the first or you are the last or the last of the bunch. It places the person in normality; in this state we feel that we are safe, and that makes it easier for us to leverage ourselves in what we call our comfort zone.
Thus, a perspective facilitates the "I win, you lose" or "I lose, you win". It is a way of looking at things in which "ego" runs wild. "the ego" is at ease and makes decisions based on the unconscious fear of scarcity. that scarcity produces. In this way of thinking, the individual is quite asleep because all his concern is at least not to be the last or alone.
All this brings a lot of maladaptation to the circumstances, emotional prostitution and imbalance, thinking only of individual welfare. And the worst of all is that the suffering that the individual suffers is realand unsustainable, because one cannot let one's guard down: either I win or I lose.
The ability to adapt
On the contrary, living a mindset of abundance, promotes balance, sustainability, connection and awareness, responsibility, intrinsic motivation, and a willingness to look for alternatives. In contrast, living with an abundance mindset fosters balance, sustainability, connection and awareness, responsibility, intrinsic motivation, and the willingness to search for alternatives.
Living with abundance, thinking with abundance, is related to a systemic perspective, an awareness of belonging to something bigger than what is generated by oneself.
It is a "circular" perspective where we can all contribute and we can all take; it is a common fund, each one contributes what she has to improve the whole and takes from the whole what she needs to improve it. It opens space to generosity, to gratitude, to kindness, it opens a space to the other from respect.
From this way of seeing things we have our own space, we contribute, and therefore, we do not have to fight for "if I am capable, if I can or if I deserve". In it, the person does not get lost in these survival issues, because they are already covered, and fear, when it exists, arises from a higher level of consciousness, with a balanced view to act contemplating all the resources that exist in the whole.
When we professionals of accompaniment look from there, we open other channels to our clients, from the connection with themselves. From the connection with themselves. From the possibility of loving themselves as they are and above all from the possibility to stop being afraid of themselves.
Abundance strengthens happiness and well-being. Because it connects with the essence of the human being and the ego becomes an ally that warns me when I get lost. Scarcity weakens it because it connects with the destructive ego.

It's just a reflection, it works for me. Scarcity and abundance generate different worlds, and when it comes to personal wellbeing it is fundamental where we are looking.
What's there is what's there, plus what I do with what there is will depend on how I position myself in this life..
